When you're not using your Fire TV, it will eventually go into sleep mode to save power. This can be annoying if you're trying to use the Fire TV as a central information display, as it will turn off after a few minutes of inactivity.

There are two ways to disable sleep mode on the Fire TV:

1. From the Settings menu:
   1. Go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Sleep Mode.
   2. Select "Never".
2. With a remote control:
   1. Press the Home button on the remote control.
   2. Navigate to Settings > Display & Sounds > Sleep Mode.
   3. Select "Never".

Once you have disabled sleep mode, your Fire TV will stay on until you manually turn it off.
