About the Canadian Grand Prix
The Canadian Grand Prix is an annual motor racing event held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It has been part of the Formula One World Championship since 1961. The race is held on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, which is named after the late Canadian Formula One driver Gilles Villeneuve.

The 2022 Canadian Grand Prix will take place on June 19, 2022. The race will be held over 70 laps of the 4.361-kilometer Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Max Verstappen is the defending champion, having won the 2021 Canadian Grand Prix. Verstappen is also the current Formula One World Champion.
